AITA Beet Root Vodka

The New Hampshire landscape can be harsh, with its granite under-bed and long winters. Root vegetables are under-utilized for flavoring, mostly represented by neutral potato vodka. We aim to showcase the seasonal variations of New England offerings with a surprising twist.

Our Beet Root vodka is a tribute to the fruits of the fall. We’ve blended sweet beets, tart New Hampshire cranberries, and cider-y apple pomace. The result is immediately striking for the beet’s rich, magenta color, which is backed up by the smooth, earthy taste that the roots are known for. The addition of tarragon, honey, and salt ties these fruit and vegetable components together, for a harmonious blend of savory and sweet. We’re particularly proud that this spirit was the recipient of a Double Gold Medal (Best in Category) at the 2016 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
