This single barrel, nearly as old as Tamworth Distilling itself, marks a milestone in our craft. From our second year of production, this release captures our original vision for The Old Man series, through an approach of double pot distillation and high corn content.Slow, low distillation and patient maturation have yielded a warm russet color and a luxurious viscosity. The nose reveals notes of burnt sugar, creamy fruit leather, and hints of brûlée with fruit compote. On the palate, enjoy lush flavors of maple syrup, oak, and black cherry, complemented by cinnamon and a lingering finish of molasses.
