With the ginger-like spicy aroma and slight bitter root flavor, Turmeric lends an interesting modifying agent to any drink, and has been long been used as a remedy for stomach ailments. This is smoothed out with a floral piquant of coriander seeds and a small addition of bitter melon and bitter orange help balance the sugar and places it into an amaro-like modifier. This depth of field in flavor is populated with centaury (gentian family), cardamom and grains of paradise. The aroma is reminiscent of vanilla and ginger. There is an element of hard candy, more on the side of rootbeer barrels from the galangal. There is a deeply perfumed floral note that stays grounded in the liqueur coming from cardamom, coriander and grains of paradise.
